In 2023, Material Matters will showcase a curated mix of exhibitors to celebrate the importance of materials and their ability to shape our lives. The selection included global brands, makers, designers, manufacturers, and artists working in materials that ranged from recycled aluminium, clay, wood and glass to orange peel, roots and sugar.

Isola Design is the world’s first digital and physical platform bringing visibility to independent, forward-looking designers and design studios, by connecting them to design professionals, companies, curators, journalists and potential clients.

Following Isola Design Festival's theme for 2023, Nothing Happens if Nothing Happens, the Milan-based platform is gathering design professionals committed to the mission of using design to promote circularity, innovation, and craftsmanship for Material Matters. It will show market-ready furniture and materials made with a circular approach, using natural resources and industrial waste.
