We are delighted to announce that the Material Matters returns to Bargehouse oxo tower, from 18-21 September and has some amazing exhibitors lined up.
Fibre Futures is an installation from BIOTEXFUTURE and will investigate material innovation in high-performance textiles, illustrating projects that aim to positively impact the textile value chain, including alternative resources streams, innovative spinning techniques and bio-manufacturing.
Elsewhere Aluminium manufacturer Hydro will present 100R which asks several renowned designers to create a product From CIRCAL 100R, the world’s first aluminium made entirely from recycled post -consumer scrap on an industrial scale.
Other features to look out for include a project led by TP Bennet and The Furniture Practice set to showcase material stories from some of the Uk’s lead furniture brands. The Wood Awards returns and will feature wood-centric work from some of the best architects designers and makers in the uk.
