the brands of 2022

In 2022, Material Matters showcased a curated mix of over 40 exhibitors to celebrate the importance of materials and their ability to shape our lives. The selection included global brands, makers, designers, manufacturers, and artists working in materials that ranged from recycled aluminium, clay, wood and glass to orange peel, roots and sugar.

Founded in 2014, The Collective provide environmentally sustainable acoustic solutions for the workplace, education and hospitality sectors. Experts in the design and manufacture of market-led acoustic choices all products are made in the UK using the optimum sustainable manufacturing techniques, creating walls, ceilings, screens and bespoke solutions. Always working with sustainability at its core, every business decision is led by its environmental impact.

EchoPanel® from Woven Image is the core material used throughout the product range due to its exceptional eco-credentials. Made from post-consumer PET bottles EchoPanel® has to-date prevented 30.3 million plastic bottles from entering landfill or our oceans. The Collective are the UK Exclusive distributors or Woven Image and the lead acoustic partner for Material Matters.
