Playful biomaterial lampshades exploring the transformative nature of materials
LOVEHAPPY is a collaborative design studio working across disciplines to reimagine environments through biomaterials, storytelling, and community-rooted design. LOVEHAPPY specialize in material innovation, transforming waste into regenerative resources, and creating spaces that foster curiosity, belonging, and connection.
Featuring at this year’s fair, will be a slow series of biomaterial lampshades exploring and embracing the ephemeral and transformative nature of materials. Crafted through playful explorations of kitchen ingredients and food waste, each piece reflects an evolving relationship with impermanence. By allowing the materials to shift and change over time, the series is an invitation to see objects as living participants in our spaces.
