Low Carbon Industrial introduces Elenite: sustainable surfaces redefining architectural materials
Low Carbon Industrial (LCI) is a UK based materials company founded in 2025, the brainchild of Jake Solomon and Conor Taylor, who together noticed a gap in the market for sustainable surface and material solutions.
Building on the pioneering work of timber terrazzo surface brand Foresso, LCI is a new initiative c
reated with the aim to reduce the carbon footprint of architectural materials without compromising on performance, aesthetics, or practicality. Based on design-led solution thinking, LCI is a materials company that aims to create beautiful, thoughful, and honest low-carbon alternatives to the materials widely used by the industry.
This September, Low Carbon Industrial will publicly debut Elenite as a material sponsor of the Material Matters Fair. Visitors can explore and interact with Elenite across key touch points throughout the show - including the welcome desk, bar surfaces, tabletops, and totems throughout the Space House location.
