Celebrating Natural Materials
Only Natural is a global initiative championing the use of renewable, nature-based materials in contemporary design. Through education, industry partnerships and the Only Natural International Student Design Competition, it encourages emerging designers to explore the creative potential of materials including wool, hemp, leather, wood and other plant-based fibres.
At Material Matters London, Only Natural will present the winning projects from its 2026 International Student Design Competition alongside a curated selection of award-winning work from the 2024 and 2025 editions. Spanning fashion, furniture and interiors, the exhibition highlights how the next generation of designers is using natural materials to create thoughtful, responsible and innovative design solutions while demonstrating the versatility and enduring value of renewable resources.
