The craft of circular glassmaking
Founded by Frederik Rombach, RERO Glass is a public-access studio in Antwerp dedicated entirely to working with recycled glass. Operating at the intersection of craft, design and environmental thinking, the atelier collaborates with artists, designers and architects to experiment with the material and its possibilities. Alongside its own collection, spanning lighting, tableware and sculptural pieces, RERO runs workshops and events welcoming thousands of visitors each year.
At Material Matters Copenhagen, RERO presents two new launches: ROOTS, a customisable chandelier made from recycled sheet glass, and the R Series, a modular system combining metal structures with endlessly adaptable recycled glass forms.
