Long-lasting garments from marine waste and community collaboration

ZUCZUG 22 is a sustainability-deiven brand creating longer-lifespan products in collaboration with partners across diverse fields. Marking its 22nd anniversary, they launch ZUCZUG 22 Longer-Lifespan Product - a continued exploration into sustainability. Anchored in co-building, they step out of the fashion industry to work together with partners across various fields engaged in sustainable and social welfare projects, co-developing longer lasting products.

At Material Matters 2025 ZUCZUG 22 will present its first collection, “From Beachcombing to Clothing”. Developed in partnership with recycled polyester brand ReTraze and the Qinband Island Public Welfare Initiative. They have used fully traceable recycled polyester made from discarded plastic bottles to create fabrics to make garments and accessories for everyday use and workwear.
