The Digital Material Toolbox

Specifying materials is about far more than appearance. It is about understanding texture, scale, performance and context. Created by architects for architects and designers, Architextures is a digital material library that enables a global community of more than half a million users to source, customise and download high-quality material textures for architecture and interior design. Compatible with leading CAD and BIM software, the platform helps bridge the gap between digital visualisation and real-world material specification.

At Material Matters London, Architextures will showcase its library of more than 8,000 digital textures alongside Materials in Motion, a series of films celebrating Scotland's rich material culture, and Stories, its award-winning publication exploring the people, projects and processes shaping contemporary material innovation. Together they reveal a practice that goes beyond digital tools, connecting designers with the materials, craftsmanship and knowledge that underpin better architecture and more thoughtful design.
