We are delighted to be partnering with Material Bank as our Official Talks Partner for Material Matters Copenhagen.
On the opening day we kick off with a pair of panel discussions. At 3pm the focus is on wood, with Making Things in Common, which investigates AHEC’s installation. No. 1 Common, designed by KUF Studio, explores the creative potential of overlooked and underused timber, with a group of up-and-coming designers including Andu Masebo, Anna Maria Øfstedal Eng, and Daniel Schofield.
Following this, at 4pm the attention turns to post-consumer aluminium and how circularity and local resources can shape design. Speakers include: designers Daniel Rybakken, Keiji Takeuchi and Hydro’s Senior Vice President and head of People, Communication and Sustainability Erika Ahlqvist.
Days two and three will pick up on the subjects of colour and light with panelists including: Yes Colours design director Simon Hamilton, Aifunghi’s Bart Schilder, Abalon’s Ana Bridgewater, Utopia & Utility’s Pia Wüstenberg, and Panos Sakkas from The New Raw.
