Designing the Future with AI
Matrix Design brings together architecture, technology and material thinking to explore how artificial intelligence can reshape the way spatial design is conceived and delivered. Established in 2010 and headquartered in Shenzhen, the award-winning practice has more than 700 people across offices in China, Hong Kong, Europe and the USA, with a portfolio spanning more than 6,000 completed projects.
At Material Matters London, Matrix Design presents Hand, Code, Matter: A New Flow for Spatial Design, an exhibition exploring how hand-making, drawing and AI can work together without losing the human character of design. Central to its contribution is Lovspark, an AI-powered spatial design tool developed specifically for designers, helping them explore concepts, generate visual directions and communicate ideas. Looking ahead, Lovspark aims to connect digital design with material and product libraries, bridging design decisions with supply chains and real-world delivery.
