Circular Design for Furniture and Interiors
Studio Onesta creates high-end furniture and interiors that connect people, materials and place. Influenced by northern European design traditions, its work combines simple, elegant forms with considered material choices, responsible production and a focus on human wellbeing. The studio works across residential and hospitality environments, creating spaces and products designed for longevity, while exploring new approaches to materials, manufacturing and circular design.
At Material Matters London, Studio Onesta will first present material developments by Margent Form, including hemp-based boards and bio-composites that offer alternatives to conventional materials used in furniture and interiors. Alongside these, the studio will show Di Canapa, decorative acoustic wall panels made from hemp, cork, upcycled coffee waste and bio-binder, and Vita Onesta, a modular storage system combining bamboo poles with shelves made from hemp, coffee waste and cork. Together, the projects demonstrate Studio Onesta’s approach to developing practical, beautiful products from lower-impact and waste-derived materials.
