Material Matters London is established as a headline event in the London Design Festival. The fair showcases work from global brands like Arper, adidas, Kvadrat and Hydro to up-and-coming companies and designers working with materials in new, exciting ways. 

For 2026, Material Matters returns to Space House, a modernist icon designed by Seifert & Partners, ideally located in Central London.

WHAT TO EXPECT


Material Matters London is where material intelligence meets cutting-edge design. 

Highlights of the 2025 edition include: 

  • Curated exhibitors showcasing sustainable materials, furniture, finishes, and technology - from global brands to experimental designers
  • Live talks and panel discussions featuring leading voices in architecture and design, organised by Grant Gibson. Topics ranged from circularity and craft to regenerative design and the politics of making
  • Immersive installations that highlight innovation in biomaterials, recycled content, and low-impact production methods
  • Networking opportunities with architects, designers, makers, specifiers, and manufacturers from across the built environment
