MATERIAL MATTERS BOOKSHOP AT SURFACE DESIGN SHOW 2025

Material Matters has joined forces with NOVAVITA, a brand that turns waste into new, playful, sustainable materials, to create a bookshop at this year’s Surface Design Show.
SDS runs 4-6 February at the Business Design Centre, in London’s Islington and hosts over 180 exhibitors. The bookstore will sell a clutch of materially-based titles aimed at the architecture and design community, many of which have been featured on the podcast.
‘I spend a lot of time on the podcast talking to architects, designers, material scientists and journalists about books they have just published,’ says Grant. ‘So it makes sense to sell the books we have been talking about in such detail. We are delighted to launch the idea at this year’s SDS alongside a company like NOVAVITA, with which we share a very similar ethos.’
