Courtyard 

Spirit of Place is an original artwork designed by Simone Brewster in collaboration with Amorim. The piece was commissioned for last years LDF and the design captures the essence of the cork oak forest - underlining cork as a natural, resilient and beautiful material.

Cork oak trees and cork carry a warm brown tone. Here, the distinct qualities of the material are translated into Brewster's large-scale sculptural columns. Each column combines a range of cork composites with individual textures, colours and properties marked with the (A) as found on Amorim cork stoppers.
